Long Term Care Nursing Consultant
Anne Bongo is a nursing consultant with thirty-five years of regulatory compliance, systems development, and quality assurance and improvement for long term care and acute care facilities.
Anne is the current Clinical Compliance Resource Manager at AV Resource Corporation where she leads a team in long term care accreditation preparation and mock surveys, risk management, policy and procedure development, pharmacy and medication management for nurses, and nurse training that includes skills validation reviews, and continuing education. Anne leads and manages a multifaceted team servicing clients in long term care, rehabilitation, assisted living, hospice, home health, and congregate living.
Prior to joining AV Resource Corp., Anne served in Director roles at Ensign Clinical Resource and PLUM Healthcare Group where she managed quality assurance and improvement for multiple healthcare facilities, expanded assessments and forms in Electronic Health Record, and developed guidelines for best practices in nursing care.
Anne’s experience managing and developing improvements in quality assurance, risk management, and staff training spans thirty years. In her early career, she served as Case Manager and Supervisor for Kindred Hospital in Acute Care, she is the former Director of Med-Surg and Telemetry for San Dimas Community Hospital, Emergency Room House Supervisor at Covina Community Hospital, and she is a former Quality Management Director at Wescove Home Health Services.
Anne earned her Master of Healthcare Informatics. She earned her Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing from Far Eastern University in the Philippines. She is a Board-Certified Registered Nurse in California and New York, and she is a Certified Legal Nurse Consultant as well as a Certified Director of Nursing. She is the former President of the Far Eastern University Nursing Alumni Southern California Chapter, a member and active supporter of Ang Nars Association Philippines as well as a member of the Philippine, American, and New York State Nurses Associations.
