At Nash Healthcare Consulting (NHC), our mission is to support health organizations with the tools and resources needed to provide high-quality care. NHC prepares domestic and international healthcare facilities for the rigorous and comprehensive survey required by The Joint Commission and CMS Regulatory Compliance processes in Behavioral Health, Critical Access Hospitals, Hospitals, Long Term Care, and the Ambulatory setting. Our services provide team training, assistance with process execution, recommendations for corrective actions, survey preparation, and full mock surveys.
NHC has been in business since 2009 employing a diversified group of licensed, practicing healthcare professionals with long-standing healthcare experience, many over forty years each. For the past fifteen years, NHC has supported domestic and international healthcare organizations with the tools and resources needed to provide high-quality care focused on accreditation preparation, quality and risk assessment, high-level disinfection and sterilization, education and medical staff safety and pharmacy compliance. We work diligently with our clients to incorporate and apply sustainable strategies and processes to improve healthcare organizations.

NHC's core competencies include pre-survey assessments and mock surveys for JC accreditation, CMS Consultants for compliance with Conditions of Participation, and patient safety risk assessments such as ligature risk evaluations, survey readiness and evaluation of medical staff bylaws, credentialing and privileging, pharmacy compounding, medication management evaluations, sterile processing, sterilization, high-level disinfection, behavioral health, long-term care survey readiness, and medical staff education. As part of the mock surveys, NHC consultants provide complete education including mentorship and feedback to on-site staff both during the tracers as well as at the end of the full survey process where trends are clearly identified that compare against critical findings happening across the United States. NHC delivers a full written report electronically of all findings to the facility including leadership. All final NHC reports include the SAFER Matrix making clear and specific references to The Joint Commission standards and elements of performance in need of improvement.
We lead and support numerous projects and have a track record of proven success resolving State and Federal Survey immediate jeopardy issues. Year-after-year, we support lengthy and ongoing survey projects preparing organizations for their return surveyor visits.
Nash Healthcare Consulting Team
The NHC team is highly experienced, credentialed, and prepared to deliver decades of survey, administrative, and clinical experience. Our senior consultants are former surveyors from the Joint Commission and the Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services. We meet the unique needs of each hospital by aligning our experience with policy and practice to work closely with hospital leadership and front-line staff to support hospitals in key areas where sustainment can be difficult.
