David Jagrosse, CRCST, CHL

David Jagrosse is a sterile processing specialist with over 30 years of experience as a subject matter expert serving in various leadership roles including manager, supervisor, technician, board member, and committee chairman. David’s medical device reprocessing subject matter expertise includes medical device manufacturers, medical companies, independent practices and surgical centers, and offsite sterile processing centers. David has also been called upon as an expert witness in legal matters because he delivers specialized knowledge and expertise not publicly known or commonly shared in the profession.

David’s 30 years of experience in CSSD/SPD as a manager and technician includes his employment at the following hospitals in Connecticut: Hospital of St. Raphael and Yake-New Haven Hospital in New Haven, New Britain General Hospital in New Britain, and Middlesex Hospital in Middletown.

In David’s early career, he served as Connecticut Central Service Association Communications Officer, he served on the ASHCSP Recognition Committee in 2006 and as Chairman in 2007.

David is certified through HSPA, CRCST, CHL, is an Adjunct Instructor for Sterile Processing Certifications, is an active voting member on AAMI workgroups in the following categories: packaging, endoscope reprocessing, water quality, and chemical sterilant. David is a Kilmer innovations packaging and KIIP Committee working group member and is an active member of HSPA having served in multiple roles including President and Executive Board Member (formerly IAHCSMM).
