Matthew Daniel, BS, CHSP

Matthew Daniel brings 20 years of experience in the healthcare industry specialized in Environment of Care, Emergency Management, and Life Safety Engineering.

Matthew’s past roles include oversight and direction of various Environment of Care programs, Emergency Management programs, Security programs, Hazardous Materials & Waste programs, and Life Safety Management programs in varied healthcare settings. 

Throughout his career, Matthew has been a certified CPI Instructor, a Hospital Decontamination Instructor, as well as a HAZWOPER train the trainer, and has authored publications on the topics of healthcare safety and security.

Matthew received his degree in business administration from James Madison University and is currently an active member of the American Society for Healthcare Engineers (ASHE), as well as the National Fire Protection Association (NFPA).  He is also a current member of the Life Safety Subcommittee of the Healthcare Section Codes & Standards Review Committee of NFPA.
