Stacey Shaw, LCSW 

Stacey Shaw has 15 years of behavioral health leadership and clinical experience serving patients and organizations as a licensed clinical social worker and substance use disorder professional. Stacey specializes in behavioral health regulatory policy in Washington and Florida, she is an expert in Joint Commission standards as well as survey readiness as they pertain to behavioral health and state regulated counseling services. She further specializes in serving patients challenged with substance use, co-occurring disorders, and mental health disorders.

Stacey served as Vice President of Compliance and as the Regional Director of Clinical Operations and Compliance at Northpoint Recovery in Edmonds, Washington. In these roles, she oversaw and lead 5 departments while successfully leading surveys by The Joint Commission, CMS, and other state regulated surveyors. Stacey’s dedicated policy and procedure drafting work received high marks and recognition via committee approval at Northpoint. In a similar capacity and leadership role, Stacey is also the former Director of Clinical Services at Smokey Point Behavioral Hospital where she led and managed 5 departments including processes related to court services, intensive outpatient services, therapists, clinicians, and she assisted in leading surveys for state and federal regulatory bodies.

Stacey is a former Program Director of Military Services for the Department of Defense in the Army and Air Force at Joint Base Lewis McChord where she spearheaded the Social Work Internship Program. In this role, Stacey supported and prepared active-duty service members in their various clinical rotations that included ongoing regulatory operations support to ensure survey readiness.

Stacey earned her Doctorate in Clinical Social Work from the University of Tennessee, and she earned her master’s and bachelor’s degrees in social work from the University of South Florida. Stacey’s social work license was granted by the Association of Social Work Board in Florida, and she is currently a certified substance use disorder professional, and child mental health specialist granted by the Washington State Department of Health. She is Master Addiction Certified by the National Certification Commission for Addiction Professionals, and she is certified by the Florida Certification Board as a Master Level Certified Addiction Professional.
