Kenneth Aaron, MD
Kenneth Aaron, MD has more than forty years of clinical and medical staff leadership experience. His hospital administration expertise includes serving on hospital and critical access accreditation program surveys for the Joint Commission. While a surveyor, Dr. Aaron was an integral member of a special survey unit since 2019.
Dr. Aaron served as the Medical Director at Hoag Memorial Hospital Presbyterian for seven years. He served as Corporate Patient Safety Officer for the LA County Department of Health Services for four years before serving as a physician surveyor for the Joint Commission. Prior to Hoag Memorial, Dr. Aaron spent over twenty years treating patients in his private practice.
Dr. Aaron is a Fellow of the American Society of Colon and Rectal Surgeons and the American College of Surgeons. Dr. Aaron has advanced training in quality and patient safety from the Intermountain Health Care Advanced Training Program in Health Care Delivery Improvement, and the IHI Patient Safety Officer Executive Training Program.
Dr. Aaron attended McGill University for his undergraduate and graduate education. He completed his surgery residency at Roosevelt Hospital in New York City, and he completed his colon and rectal surgery fellowship at Ferguson Clinic in Grand Rapids, Michigan. Following his fellowship, he served in the US Air Force at the USAF Regional Hospital in Fort Worth, Texas.
