Kylie Munoz, MSW, LICSW, BCD

Kylie Munoz is a retired Army behavioral health executive and nationally experienced healthcare consultant with more than 20 years of leadership across military medicine, behavioral health operations, quality improvement, regulatory compliance, and clinical practice. She is recognized for guiding organizations through complex regulatory environments while strengthening clinical quality, patient safety, and operational performance.

Ms. Munoz is an expert in Joint Commission survey readiness and accreditation leadership. Throughout her career, she has directed multidisciplinary teams in preparing for and successfully completing inspections by the Joint Commission, the Defense Health Agency, and the Department of the Army. Her approach integrates continuous readiness, evidence-based quality improvement, policy development, and leadership engagement to build sustainable compliance rather than episodic survey preparation.

Ms. Munoz also brings specialized expertise in MHS GENESIS optimization, behavioral health program management, performance improvement, developing corrective action plans, and coaching leaders and frontline staff to achieve lasting operational excellence.

In addition to her clinical work, Ms. Munoz is committed to developing future healthcare leaders. She mentors graduate social work students, provides executive consultation on clinical and regulatory issues, and serves as an adjunct faculty member.

Ms. Munoz earned her Master of Social Work from Fayetteville State University in North Carolina and her Bachelor of Arts in Psychology from Thomas Edison State University in New Jersey. She is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker in the states of Washington and North Carolina and a Board-Certified Diplomate through the American Board of Clinical Social Workers. She is also a proud recipient of the Order of Military Medical Merit (O2M3) in recognition of her contributions to Army Medicine.
