Tom Lehman, PE
Tom Lehman brings over 30 years of experience in health care, support services administration, facilities planning, construction, contract and property management, safety, security, food service, environmental services, clinical engineering, plant operations, and maintenance activities. Tom further brings 17 years of experience as an environment of care consultant with Joint Commission Resources.
In this role, he served both domestic and international clients to include Veterans Administration and active military facilities throughout the United States. His skills are extremely effective in these environments because he also brings a longstanding military background including serving in an Officer role for the United States Army.
In 2002, Tom formed a medical office building and surgery center development company, Partners in Development, USA, LLC. As managing principal, he provided development services to medical clients to include program narrative, preliminary total project budgets, land acquisition, coordination of architectural services, contractor delivery systems that included competitive bidding, bid analysis, assistance with selection and award of contract and mobilization of successful bidder, project production oversight, and commissioning of facilities.
In this role, Tom provided senior oversight to high value enterprise level construction projects, orchestrated facilities, managed strategic planning, provided leadership to all support services operations to include operations and maintenance, capital budgets, and coordinated compliance with Joint Commission Environment of Care standards.
Tom earned his Bachelor’s of Science in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Missouri in Columbia, Missouri, he is a Certified Yellow Belt and a Licensed Professional Engineer in the State of Illinois.
